The EKEN M005 is the newest 8 Inch offering from the Established Affordable Tablet producer - Eken. For an Entry Level Price you get a Big Screen, super slim design -- and still enough power to

- manage email,
- watch Youtube,
- play Movies and Music,
- do some word processing, and the like.
This is not really a heavy gamer (not for 3D) or multitasking device. PLEASE NOTE: it IS a New Device, so I can not comment on actual performance yet, as is the case with all new models. A few details are a little sketchy, like Camera pixel, battery life, and if 3G support is functional (it is listed). Also, the *VIA chips usually run a lot slower than the listed speeds.
Eken also released an M008 with 9.7" Screen--- however, it uses the SAME lighter powered hardware but costs enough to consider a stronger Telechip unit.
